We always play badly there, they've got a much better team, 2-0 to us, Barry and Milner own goals and some outrageous decsions from the officials in our favour.
Nah. We'll win 0-2 there aswell.Leeg, when was the last time you got the score right at 2-0 to villa? (winky)

I have avoided doing predictions as I usually get them wrong and we lose but what have I got to lose now.
6-0 to Citeh, yep we really are that bad at the moment.
We are disorganised, non-disciplined and have a defence like a sieve
We will be lucky to keep it down to 4
I was stopped by a bearded man in a woolly hat on Witton Lane who told me we will be in the bottom three next Sunday.
Up yours, grim hairy Teiresias.
0-1 Downing
Despair that tires the world brings the old man laughter.
The laughter of the world only grieves him,
deceives him,
The old man's guide is chance.

Whenever I think of Man City, the image I get in my mind is Paul Walsh scoring in the FA Cup, pissing it down with rain and us stood in the Kippax. Its always grim up there, but as I said, the spell is broken.
I was at that one. Soaked to the fucking skin. SEem to remember Fashanu missing a sitter.
With Heskey out, I'd run with Gabby up top, Downing and Marc out wide. NRC and Bannan in the middle, with Stan screening. I think that would help shield the back four better than going 4-4-2.
Concerns about Warnock, but not a lot we can do while Luke is injured.

This is no game for Bannan mate
I'd go..
Friedel
Lichaj, Cuellar, Clark, Warnock
Albrighton, Delph, Petrov, Reo-Coker, Downing
Agbonlahor
Jimbo, nothing in life is certain. Ask ronny rosenthal
I'd hate to be storming the beaches with some of you wusses!
I am going VIP to this as the guest of a player. Not looking forward to the game at all, think we will get murdered.

When you thank Joleon for the ticket please tell him to come back home to Brum. We need him.

A perfect hat-trick from Barry, where he then runs the length of the pitch like Adebayor, slides on his knees and kisses the city badge.
I think we have a chance here, if our defence doesnt make any mistakes.
PaulWinch - Happy Birthday. I am sure we all got the hint.
I would also go with.Friedel

Can't recall the last time I've not looked forward to a Villa game, the next 2 games could be painful, making Sunderland a massive gameBoxing Day ?
A lot of negativity on this thread, reminds me of my first 32 years of supporting City!! I do think we will win but it won't be a thrashing that many are predicting. Mancini just doesn't do thrashings at Eastlands, he loves possesion football mainly played by the defenders and Nigel DeJong, bores the opposition and then hit them on the counter-attack. We have played far better football away from home this season as the home side has to come at us, but at home when the opposition don't attack as often we just seem to play keep ball until Tevez gets pissed off and starts looking deep for the ball, spurs the rest on and we get a couple.
Probable line up
Hart
Zabaletta- Kompany-Lescott/Toure-Kolorov
DeJong
YaYa Toure Barry
Silva Balotelli
Tevez
subs- Given, Richards, Vieira, Boateng, A Johnson, Milner, Jo
I predict a 2-0 victory with Tevez and Milner to score his first for us near the end
For those of you coming, have a safe trip and try and enjoy it as much as you can. Btw, it's pissing down here (no surprise) so bring a coat!!

Just PM'd you

Would be good to get some impartial feedback post game on how our players did
A pleasantly surprising draw; 1-1.I'll go along with that. Hopefully Carlos will once again have Tevez in his pocket, Gabby is due a goal and now we have a bit more muscle in the middle of the pitch, the defence will finally get some protection.
We could start Pires, he's got a pace advantage over Barry & Milner.
