From Auntie (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/west_ham_utd/9291825.stm):
West Ham must win at least one of the relegation-threatened club's next three games or manager Avram Grant will be sacked, BBC Sport understands.
Time is running out for the 55 year-old Israeli, who has just one win in 11 matches, with the club three points adrift at the bottom of the table,
West Ham play Blackburn away on Saturday, then Fulham away on Boxing Day before meeting Everton.
A source said this allows the club to make best use of the transfer window.
"If we didn't win once by the turn of the year then there would have to be a change before the start of the January transfer window to give a new manager a chance to make the changes he wanted," the senior source told BBC Sport.
More to follow.

Such is the irony of football, a defeat at Blackburn followed by Big Sam replacing Grant?
-
What a bloody joke, are they thick? Just get Big Sam now, don't wait till youre cut even more adrift.
They are probably the worst owners imaginable, 3 cheers for Randy!!!
-
His days are numbered whatever happens get Big Sam in then watch as porno dwarves lot are relegated.
-
I think cackbeard and the Orange Intruder must actually enjoy being relegated. Maybe the delicious feeling of shame is habit-forming after a while, like paying thickset German dinnerladies to take a shit on your chest

It's a shame they sold the noses.

Brilliant. Simply brilliant.
-
What if they get 3 draws? Might give them more confidence than a win followed by two defeats. Bird in the hand is worth two up the duff etc.
-
Big Sam would probably keep them up though, Academy of football my arse
-
Bad news in my book. Under Grant I thought they would be a shoe in for on of the relegation places.
Did McLeish sign his new contract at B'ham? He lives in Fulham, I might look at the odds of McLeish going to the Spammers and Allardyce to B'ham - a marriage made in Heaven.

I don't think they would like dudley Sam's style at West Ham, Keep grant & let him take them down where they belong :)
-
i think the spammers will wait till roy h goes from liverpool.then make there move for him,
he did it with fulham, and his teams play the game more suited to those at upton park,
if by some chance big sam ended up at west ham, it would all end in tears, same as if MON went toliverpool
