That's a lot of cash. Last season total Premier League attendance was 12,977,252 which although the dates aren't exactly aligned means we paid on average £5.16 per person, per match. I knew that agents were taking a lot out of the game but I'm shocked at that figure.
# Team Cash
1 Chelsea £9,293,751.48
2 Liverpool £9,032,528.49
3 Manchester City £5,952,261.33

5 Sunderland £4,421,990.72
6 Arsenal £3,660,199.00

19 West Brom £614,195.73
20 Blackpool £45,000.00
[Edit]
It seems my figures are a bit small heath. I should not try to rush maths when dinner's just been called and I'm being shouted at! The figure of £5.16 is of course per person per season, not match. :-X

Predictable, I know, but spurs £5.3m jumps out especially considering their relatively small spending.
etc etc etc.
Actually thinking about it. Villa's amount is pretty big as a percentage. What time period/transfers does that cover?
-
The agent's fees are September to September due to the transfer window I assume. The attendance figures are obviously last season.
-
Nice to see Liverpool getting such good value for money there.
-
It's obscene how much the agents get paid we could use that £2.2 million towards new players instead of paying those sharks.
-
Agents = parasites.
Heard Danny Mills on Five Live the other week saying he never had an agent as a player as he didn't feel the need for one. He was also less than complimentary (though diplomatic) about the services they offer players.
Oh for more intelligent footballers.

It's only when you break those figures down that their true obscenity shines through. Every time you buy a ticket for a match over five pounds goes to agents.
-
You have to have a soft spot for Blackpool, only 45K for agents!

By way of an apology for my earlier mistake, here's a list of each team and the cost to supporters per match and per season. £/ticket is (agent fee / total home league attendance / matches). £/season is (agent fee / total home league attendance).
It's a little less than my original figure :) but it's still shocking in my opinion. The royal family cost me £0.69 whereas agents cost me £3.11.
