after all this farce that went on with the kits has anyone buckled and bought the home or away shirt ?
-
I havent bought either of them yet this season - first time i havent bought one or the other since 1990. Really not fussed about either - save your money for Aston Villa The Complete Record - top top book.
-
i buckled today and went and got the away top from jjb for £34.99
they are doing a £10 off all adult shirts and £5 off all kids shirts ( any footie top )
better than paying £45 :-)
-
Bought the kids the home kit.
-
I haven't bought any kit this season or last season so I will wait until next season before buying it. Don't see the point of buying new shirt as we won't be able to wear them this winter and by march we only have 2 months to wear it.
-
man up !!
i will be wearing my new shirt tomorrow and i might even leave my coat at home !!
LOL

Well he has already stolen them* so they may as well go to some use!
*I presume?!
-
Bought the home kit for my son. Only because it's the first kit since he's been born though, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.
-
Bought my grandson the full kit for his birthday... has to be done, he lives in it!
-
I'll be doing the same in March next year. Yes, I'm a hypocrite.
-
Bought it for the lad
It was either that or pink boots
Pink football boots...............FFS the worlds gone mad!
-
Don't like either kit so I won't be buying one this year. I have bought my Goddaughter the away one for Christmas though.
-
Not keen on the home and the away is the worst since Green/red/black atrocity in the mid 90's.
-
The green red and black was brill. I remember buying it from that little shed of a shop we had where the a block entrance now stands lol
Atkinson on the back. Leg end
-
I have brought the away top on thursday got it for £40.
-
I really like both kits but Im not buying them now its the principle
-
i use the new kit as a way of seeing the "fundamentalist" fans now.
-
I see the internet as a way of seeing the fucking idiot fans now.
-
No. I've not bought it and nor will I.
-
Retro is the only way to go. That way you are never disappointed.
-
I've got the away one and very smart it is too.

The 57 FA Cup winning one is the best, but I want this shirt with long sleeves which they used to make, but seem to have stopped.
RE. this seasons shirt, it looks very cheaply made especially around the collar.
-
I'll be purchasing the long sleeve away top in january with Juninho on the back

Are they wearing the new kit :o)

Very courteous and respectful ? Why not go the whole hog and call people clowns ?

Well thats outrageous. A smack head should have taken way less than that if they were clucking..you could have got them for a tenner each I reckon!!
-
I was determined not to buy the kit this year, although my daughter really wanted the new home shirt.
The only way I could justify it was by taking advantage of the 3 for 2 deal at JJB sports. Got one for me, my mate and my daughter for a cost of £23.60 each....that made it slightly more paletable.
-
They are really pushing it.
It seems barely a day goes by without me receiving an e-mail advising me of some new deal.
-
Purchased 'away' today and posted it to a Dublin Lion -
He wanted Clark21 printed on it for obvious reasons, just
hope continued rumour of Manure sniffing around are untrue-
Apparently ALBRIGHTON is the most popular print at present
-
Is the name and number printing still free from the club shop
-
Yes.
-
Cheers going on Saturday to sort out the lads chrimbo present.
Sorry Nathan you've been dumped for Marc Albrighton in a late change.
-
I folded and ordered the Away shirt ( with free postage). It arrived today. I like it except for the fx pro logo in RED. Bad move there, why not white ?
-
Where's the cheapest place too get the away kit (kids) with lettering? Best i've found so far is JJB £62 thats £20 cheaper than the clubshop
-
club shop as its free printing
-
I got the 82 shirt instead.
Fuck Nike.
-

Is that Villa Village only? Because the website charges for printing.
-
I was admiring the away shirt last night, Im starting to weaken..
Must...Not...Buy..shirt....
-
No. I don't like the check pattern on the trim. Also, don't like the fact that they haven't come out until November. They should be out by July-ish ideally.
I am buying the away kit for my bosses son though.

Corporate wanker.
-
Aren't they doing an offer with the Villa credit card?
-

Fuck Nike.
[igot the 71 shirt this season i dont like this new shirt for me villa should always have the blue colar (trim) /quote]
-
I think the claret collar and the plain white print sponsor makes the shirt look very cheap.
Who is supplying next years kit?

Nike I thought
-
The sponsor on the home shirt does look a bit tacky when looking at it close up. I've bought the away one though, which is pretty smart. For those with a slight beer gut, the next size up from your normal is required though.
-
Has anyone bought from this place before? Home shirt is £17.99 today only.

Oh nice one, thanks. Old adage is true then - if it looks too good to be true, it probably is :-)
-
Certainly not. Haven't bought a kit since the early 90s. Apart from the long-sleeved 1982 shirt, obviously.
-
Apply for the Aston Villa Mastercard, spend £200 in the first 3 months and you get a free away shirt.
-

Aye.
Except I won't be buying the away kit for my bosses' son.
-
Its currently £25 in sports direct, with every other football shirt
-
I have received today my 2010-11 shirt and I am satisfied.
Although I'm a fan of the old, plain, 70's kit fan, I have to say that for being a modern kit the current one is quite original.
The dark shade of claret is very good (although yet not at the highness of the old historical kits), much better than the one of the 3 previous Nike outfits.
-
No.
I got the 1982 'Champions of Europe' home top and am happy with that for this season.
