Laghably kept on last night and is now out for 3-4 weeks which should keep him out of the game against us.

Agent Capello strikes..
-
what a shame...
(inserts some sarcastic smilie thing...)

As much as the press and commentators eulogize about Gerrard these days he is no where near the player he once was.
Admittedly he was possibly the best player for England last night but the amount of times he conceded possession with repeated ridiculous long balls was shocking.
-
Torres is no doubt due anotherinjury soon,so hopefully another win at Anfield for us!
-
Such a shame!

Thought exactly this last night. It was a "look at me" performance. He didn't half give the ball away. Was amazed to hear them praising him after the game, but then it was his mate Slaphead Murphy and Adrian Chiles.

Didn't we win there last season with both Gerrard and Torres playing?

He is injured now, doubtful for the weekend.

All I've heard today is how bad cappello is for playing Gerrard longer than an hour.
Am I missing something? Why the fuck should he get special treatment and not play a full game?

Because it's a friendly & I would be livid if it were a Villa player

Never like to dwell on any players injuries but we need all the help we can get with all of our own. So his absence will be good for us as he is the driving force for them ......

You'd still love him in our midfield though, admit it.

Nah, yesterday's man, and a monotone cock to boot.

The idea of a friendly in November is mad it is several months before the next competitive international.
The idiots have taken over the asylum of profesional football.
i couldnt give a flying fuck about gerrard or liverpool but i can imagine the outrage i would feel if one or two of our top players got injured in a meaningless freiendly before a critical game
-
I just hope he is out when we play them love nothing more than to stuff those red bastards.

I have a feeling he'll be back and will "fall over" someones leg just out side our penalty area in the last few minutes.

I did no such thing

The one man teams fucked then, no service for Torres so theyll struggle even with a fit Fernando, This is when we can really push on in the next few games....
