Can't quite remember when that might have been, just wondering if/how it may have affected our form around that time!
-
It must have been about 28 years or so ago. Sorry my memory could not tell if/how our form was affected.

Pedant alert: William is not the heir to the throne. His father is the heir apparent.
-
April 2005 we finished 10th that season.

Are you sure he's not AN heir?

He is second in the line of succession, but there can only ever be one heir.

Stop splitting heirs.
-
Liz will send herself a congratulatory telegram before she lets Charlie in.
Will is getting hitched before he loses the rest of his heir.
Their progeny stand more chance than Charles does of ever getting the gig.
Anyway they need kids quick before Harry Hewitt's lot stake their claim and she begins to think like his mother.
Last time we went on a few years later and did quite well in Rotterdam.
-
I prefer to remember the marriage between Charleas and Diana. It was 1981, and in 1981 we. . .

Stop splitting heirs.
Best H&V pun of the decade.
-
Heir today, gone tomorrow. Things can be arranged...
-
I wonder if she is Heiry.
-
Not an heir, but when the golf-loving freeloader, Prince Andrew married his toe-sucking, binge-drinking freeloading wife, the Duchess of Pork in July 1986, well, we all know what happened the following season.
In the 1973-74 season when Princess Anne ( doesn't she work hard for a Royal?) married that chinless, grinning buffoon, Captain Mark, Villa finished 14th in division 2. Her second marriage was far more successful (for Villa at Least) when we finished runners up in the league in 1992-93 (typical Villa, always the bridesmaid...)
When the Queen married in November 1947, Villa were to finish 6th in the league.
Yes, it's a quiet day at the office today....
-
Charles and Camilla, April 2005.
We were shit.

I think that wins the thread to be honest.

Just seen that see through dress pic of Kate- hot legs or what, would love to see her dressed in Williams villa kit!

Good stuff, that's the level of respect I like to see for these malingering spongers.

No one has mentioned yet for all his claims to be a Villa fan. Willie turn up one day soon to show off his bride-to-be and get the approval of the Holte End?

hawksbe and jacobs had dennis Mortimer on today asking him about Williams alegiance to the Villa, and if the reception might be at VP,
Dennis said he couldnt go to the wedding as he didnt know what to buy them
then they were asking listners why William does 'support' Villa, but i wasnt in the car for long so dont know what was said
-
I think William should have his wedding reception at Villa Park and married the Church next to Villa Park. And have a claret and blues theme Royal Wedding.
-
I don't care where they are married and have the reception, as long as the kids are brought up Villa. Wills, it is your duty to pass it on to the next generation. (Villafandom, not the crown) Start a dynasty.
-
Apparently he supports the Villa because Doug invited him to visit when he was a kid and gave him loads of Villa stuff - he probably billed the palace afterwards! I prefer to remember 1981 when Charles married Di. Bothams ashes, Villa champions and I won the street party fancy dress as Adam Ant - the make up was obviously lost on the judge though cuz the certificate just said 'Highwayman'!

To chants of "get ya tits out, get ya tits out......" etc.

Not on a f***ing matchday I hope!
-
Just think, if Camilla was his mom he'd be the heir of the dog.
-
I mean, you would, but she's not all that looks wise. Nice an'all. I just hope Hary takes after his dad and ends up being a love-rat and shags his brother's wife. now that would be interesting and a soap wiorth watching.
-
Stop splitting heirs.
About as good as it gets.
-
I think you will find that he and his mates at Eaton all decided to support an Oik ball team Wills chose The Villa dont you know
-
Its funny how that Wills was in attendance at Blackpool vs Wolves yesterday (on MOTD), but I don't believe that he's ever been to a game at VP; WTF? ???
-
He's not really a Villa 'til I Die Charlie!

He's working in North Wales - not too far away ...... back with the lads at Blackburn today :-)
-
Take a look at the magazine section of the BBC News website. It has a compare and contrast section between now and 1981, including a sport bit.*
*Approach with caution if you have an unshakeable belief that the world is against us.

I presume that's the final table for 1981 - 82?

Which would have been a full 10 months after Charlies sham marriage.
