Weimann will be back in December according to the Mail. Clark they are just being careful with as he felt soreness in his calf due the extra ground he covered in midfield. May be back on Sunday, Gabby was pulled out of the England game because he ran himself into the ground on Saturday.

Is that Clark or Gabby or both who may be back Sunday?

Is it me or am I the only one glad that certain names are injured?
Heskey, Carew, Petrov, Sidwell and to a certain extent NRC........Since they have been injured we have seen the rapid development of Albrighton, Bannon, Clark, Hogg, the Fonz. They have been given a chance.
Apart from Gabby I don't think the loss of any of these players has been anything but a blessing in disguise.
Would anyone put Sidwell or Petrov over Bannon??
These kids are the future of Villa, reminds me a little of the crop at manure in the early 1990,s.
We are playing great football too, not one-dimensional anymore. We need a proven goalscorer but I can really see us doing things with what we have already.
Its been a long time since I was fired up this much over a Villa side.

The commentator for the England U21 game has just said that England have been hit by an injury to Albrighton. He isn't in the team or on the bench.

Edit: a slight thigh strain picked up against Man UTd apparently.

I've got the Scotland game on because I'm paranoid about wee Barry picking up an injury.  No problems so far.

Great shout. I have been thinking the same thing. We might never have seen this energy and passion if not for most of these injuries. Now with Clarke, Pires and Ireland available we are looking threatening .........
