From Pravda (http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~2195428,00.html):
The Club is pleased to announce that the home shirt for the 2010-11 season will be available in our official stores from Wednesday, November 10 - ahead of our Barclays Premier League game against Blackpool at Villa Park.
Due to quality issues identified by Nike in a small percentage of shirts already manufactured, the Club and Nike decided jointly to set new on-sale dates for the home and away shirts.
The away shirt will be available from Wednesday, November 24.
We appreciate the inconvenience caused by the delay in the availability of the home and away shirts, which was outside of the Club's control, and we apologise sincerely to all Aston Villa fans.
Nike has been a committed partner of Aston Villa since 2007, investing heavily in the Club during this time, and the high quality of the products and satisfaction of the fans is of the utmost importance.
Therefore, prices will remain as last season - £45 [adults], £40 [youth] and £35 [kids] - and there will be free printing on names and numbers with every purchase of a shirt from either of our official stores in Villa Village or New Street.
-
I personally don't like the way they're making it sound like they're doing us a favour by keeping the price the same as last year. If anything, they should be less.
-
Not bloody good enough. I'll just leave it another few months ( whats another few at this stage) and pick them up off E Bay for a fraction of the cost.
-
Fucking joke. Who ever is to blame.
I'd like to see how the sales differ from last season.
-
i see that fulham had a kappa shirt on saturday at the stripeyfilth, did they start the season with nike or kappa??
had they any problems with nike?
Whatever has happened, i think it is ridiculous and a sham what has gone on, but we have not heard alot from the club what they really think apart from being disappointed!
-
Fulham moved to Kappa in the summer.
I like Fulhams away kit.

I like that one.
-
first year in since 1989 I ain't buying a season shirt due to this farce
Bought a retro one instead
-
I will also not be purchasing a shirt this year, first time since '89! bloody disgrace, I really thought that they would have reduced the cost to £30.00, or said that it will be next years kit!

Did you really think that? If so it's time you woke up to Modern $ootball!*
(*sorry, but I don't have a pound sign on my keyboard)

Apart from the intrusive Kappa arses over the shoulders, I love it.

Anyone who forks out 45 quid for something which will be outmoded in six months wants their head looking at.
-
Amen.
-
YIPEEEEE.......The swag is been released from some state of the art sweat shop in Outer Mongolia....Was gonna get Petrov on the back ...but by the time he's back in 2 months maybe next season's will also be available.
Never Forget The Class Of '82.

Change "six" to "twelve" and it is just as valid.
-
It'll serve them right if no-one buys them.
-
I wasn't very keen on this season's kit anyway, so definitely won't be buying it.
