Title: Another Popeye Doyle: Robert Pires in "Come and get me plea" to Villa.

Could he turn out to be as good as Hou's inspired Gary McAllister type signing when he was Liverpool boss...

Pires has been training with Arsenal this week
Crawley are set to begin talks with former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires about playing some part of this season, BBC Sussex understands.

The 36-year-old former France international is back in England looking for a club after leaving Spanish side Villarreal in the summer.

Would rather see the youngster like Albrighton and Bannan thriving.
