Where is he managing now?
Sorry should know as it is in my area of the country.
-
I don't think he is is he? I think he left Gainsborough Trinity and hasn't got another job since.

According to wiki he is still there but i know its not reliable at times.
-
He's still the Gainsborough manager. Probably not for much longer mind.

I'm sorry, I know this happens to a high percentage of managers but how can a man who did so well with a club like Villa have sunk so low in management? All I have seen from Little is a steady decline over the years - surely he couldn't have been that bad a manager?

I've always wondered that. Has anyone else noticed how managers of our club (recent times anyway) never go on to do anything else of note?
-
I was extremely surprised he went into management at all - as a player despite being a class act he was one of the most laid back almost laziest of characters at time - however when he performed he was brilliant.
Always struck me as shy, which isnt the best character trait to have as a football manager.
I wish him well -I didn`t attend his Testamonial but sent him the entrance money nevertheless - he replied to me in a personal letter and enclosed a signed programme - a gent

Because every other club wasn't the Villa.
-
I also wondered where he was now.

Gainsborough Trinity are playing FC United of Manchester in the FA Cup, as if you needed another reason to hope it goes well for Brian Little....

Been touched on before.
Sir Brian, JG and Evans were a partnership, or a triumvirate.
It was never as good for any of them when they went their separate ways.

No reason to call FC fans-they have at least proved they are genuine fans and entirely the opposite of Glory Hunters.

We are a bit of a grave yard for managers aren't we. Every manager I have watched has gone downhill after the Villa:
BFR, Little, Gregory and O'Leary. Watch this space with MON...
Taylor was a bit before my time, but even after the initial "elevation" to England Manager he did not get back to the same status level (he hard the first time round).
Back on topic, in Mr H's reshuffle of coaches, or if K-Mac leaves, I would love to see a role for Little back at Villa. I think a spot slightly out of the limelight would be perfect for his character and skill-set.
-
and he can coach our strikers
-
GT have lost 5 of 7 but just been given vote of confidence by his chairman. Other than when playing Gloucester city - I wish them all the best.
-
He walks on water.
-
Yes he does VSM and we should all remember that. The King of Footballers decided after he managed Villa that no-one else really mattered.
-
It's a bit harsh to say O'Leary has gone downhill since he left Villa, he says he's had loads of offers but is waiting for the right one. It's not a good idea to rush into things and he's only been out of work for four years. As for Brian Little, when you look at his record at Darlo, Leicester and Villa it's amazing some of the people who get jobs in the league when he can't. Even his times at Albion, Stoke and Hull weren't a disaster.

brian little did a good job for us..... first manager sice the war to get us ito top 6 two years running, and remember he worked under ellis and turned dwight yorke into a player of quality.nice bloke too.ok he lost the dressing room in the end, but he was going through a bad divorce.as for his managerial career going down after he left us..... very true but most managers go down after managing us look at ron saunders for instance
