Who do you reckon?
Mancini and Martinez look decent bets, but wouldn't surprise me if Bruce went... you can't lose to fucking Albion!
-
I voted Martinez although he goes a long way back with Whelan so he may get a few more games yet. Wigan look shit. If not Martinez then I'll go for
Hughton
-
Martinez must have a few question marks against his name after conceding 10 goals in 2 games.
-
The owner of Wigan generally satdns by his manager, and already came out with a statement last year when he was under some pressure. I think that's the easy place to look. I think it's Grant at West Ham. Two bad results already and you know the porn monkey's are dying to make an impression of "aren't we 'ard" in the press by firing another manager. If the West Ham results don't improve I think old brothel boy is next.
-
Avram the magnificent. Nice enough bloke, but i'm not really sure he's up to premiership management. Martinez was rather tempting tho, -10 gd after 2 games, oh dear.
-
Avram Grant for sure, especially being as his next games are Man United and Chelsea, Failure to nab points from either of them will see him under severe pressure.
Could be Martinez though, seems to be derived of knowing how to organise a defence. -10 gd after 2 games is unacceptable especially with a half decent keeper.
-
got to be mancini, there so not gona win a thing. it just makes me laff that an arab who knows nothing about footie has thrown that much money at a club and they still dont have a world class team.
-
Wigan look lost in the woods
they need a no nonsense defensive manager who can drill them to do the hard stuff for 90 mins
they fell apart at the end and I'm sure DW is hard headed enough to do the deed!
-
Predictably i went for the wigan guy. 2nd guess is holloway as he's obviously mental.
-
I've gone for Martinez too. 2 home games so far and conceded 10 goals in them without reply.
DW has shown in the past with Hutchings that he isn't afraid to pull the plug on a manager early doors in a season.
I think Mancini, Grant and also Bruce will be gone by Christmas too.
-
Mancini's 'man management' style(as per SI interview) should see him getting his UB40 soon enough
If you have that collection of 'superstars'(egos) you have to be able to communicate-chat them up when you are leaving them out
Still think they will give him longer than DW gives his boy
-
Steve Bruce. There's a manager available that was a Sunderland fan, he has his team of coaches all lined up ready to move in at the drop of a hat. Sunderland also have Ellis Short to finance the transfers, somebody just needs to convince him to spend it.
-
Got to be Martinez surely? Apart from a couple of stand out results last year they were shite and with a goal diff of -10 after 2 games this season things dont look good for him
-
Martinez and Avram must be the favourites. But I would love it to be Mancini or Arry.
Having said that, if Fergie, Wenger, Ancelloti all got the bullet it would mean the league tables must all be a bit less predictable than we know they are going to be come October onwards.

Thinking about it, didn't they concede 8 at Chelsea the last game of last season too? (Plus of course the 9 at Spuds).
-
DW really does seem to like and believe in Martinez so I think he'll get more time. Last season he guaranteed Martinez would keep his job even if they were relegated. His belief might waver a bit if results don't improve though.
As such, I went for Hughton. Newcastle are a worse team than when they went down and I think will really struggle. Mike Ashley won't want relegation again if he still wants to find a buyer for the club so I can see him getting an itchy trigger finger soon.
-
Houghton to make way for O'Neill

Wigans last 3 league games are a combined score of 0-18. Wigan.....half way to Bon Accord.
-
It's a tie between Martinez & Manchini I reckon. Whoever said Bruce is a good shout though - don't think all is well there.
-
Got to be Martinez. Worst ever start to a Premier League season and, even more worrying than that, as they said on MOTD last night they don't even look like a team, just a collection of individuals. Blackpool may have got battered yesterday too but at least they looked committed and together.
-
I quite like Martinez but can't stand Wigan for various reasons, so hopefully they'll get rid of him and bring someone loathsome in. Yeah, bring back Paul Jewell, that would be ideal.
-
The way West Ham are playing I wouldn't rule out Grant.
