I'm going to be in London for a bit on Thursday (City South area) ... is there a decent pub to watch the game from around that area? One preferably with other Villa fans? Thanks!
-
The Marylebone Tup was where london villans used to frequent I think. Others might know if they still do. UTV
-
There's the Roxy Bar and Screening Room in Borough (near London Bridge) I'd advise you call them first, though. As they show films in there alot.
-
You could always try Villa Park.

Sadly not any longer - it turned into a wine bar or something. In any case it was quite a way from the City. Actually, Dave's suggestion of Villa Park might be your only chance of seeing it - it isn't listed as being shown by anyone on here - http://www.livesportontv.com/football/all-fixtures

The green man in soho you usually get a few in there.

Shame, was a decent boozer that. It's on ITV4 anyway.

I wish! Unfortunatly, I don't think I'm going to have the time for the 2-hour rail-ride there and back.
Although, last time I went ... we won 5-1.
Thanks for the suggestions though everyone.

I think VillaVA was planning to try to watch it at the Globe (opp Madame Tussauds and Baker street tube). Check her Twitter on LichfieldLions?
-
I suggested to VillaVA us watching it in The Globe. Last game we watched together there was Heskey's debut against Pompey when we won 1-0 and he scored. A much better result than my first visit to The Bell in Maidenhead this weekend.
I'm working very near to there and will pop in tomorrow as I suspect they'll be showing the Liverpool or Citeh game. Otherwise, if I can get out of working on Friday, there's always Zeitgeist ;D
-
Ah ... I was thinking you guys meant the Shakespherian(sp?) Globe. :o
Looked it up on Google Maps, and it's a bit far from where I'm staying, but I might take a tube up there.
Thanks!
-
Where are you staying? The Globe is right opposite the tube: you can get to it from just about anywhere quite quickly (in fact you can get from there to the Shakespeare's GLobe in about 20 minutes!)
-
Come to mine if you want EXCL. Croydon area. me and a mate and a few beers. I would invite VillaVA but I don't think she'd like the entertainment that I've got set up.
-
I live in Kingston, you can watch it at our house.
-
I've now watched two games at The Globe and Heskey has scored in both of them.
That's the only positive I can find in last night.
