Fan-bloody-tastic, that day! Two nil down, Platt gone, loads of new signings, etc. What a great winner, brilliant running from Stan & Dalian (who pulled a hamstring putting the cross over - a sign of things to come?!.

Yep, awesome day out! The Big fat Ron's claret & blue army chant started about an hour before kick off as far as I can remember and just got steadily louder as the stand filled up. I have a feeling that was the first time the Leppings Lane end had been used following the Hillsborough disaster although I could be wrong.
