When they said the clouds had lifted, they weren't joking.

All smiles there....for the camera?

There are certain drills you can put on which you know will get even the most miserable of players to look as though they are enjoying.... the old piggy back must be the oldest one in the book....that said the players over the past year and a half havent looked as though they are enjoying their football so maybe just maybe a cloud has lifted and we will see a much more relaxed team performance on saturday ??

I thought this might be about Kevin Mac's love of Soft Cell.

There's a Ball joke in there..

I haven't got the stomach for this thread now.

They had a very similar set of photos up around a week and a half ago, except those included Milner. Again, similar stuff, players with smiles on their faces. Even MON might have been in a couple.
It's very easy to make pictures tell whatever story you want them to. This is from Pravda remember. I'd expect nothing but photos showing how happy and united the squad is no matter what.
For example, I could draw attention to the fact that neither Ashley Young nor Brad Friedel are featured in the pictures and ask whether this means the club doesn't expect them to be around for much longer.

Wonder if Carew jumped on wee Barry's back?
