Title: 2010/11 squad numbers
Post by: paul_e on August 12, 2010, 01:05:13 PM
Are up on the official site (http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~2119771,00.html)

Nice to see there isn't a 9 announced I'll take that as a good indicator that the new guy will be backed to go and find himself one.

I normally get very excited when the squad numbers come out, mainly because I'm extremely sad. But with no new signings it isn't nearly so fun. I'd have thought they could have given Clark something slightly better than 47. 21 perhaps.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton off the top of my head.

Don't think Fulham have one either.

(I have a bit of a fetish for squad numbers)

When you look at that squad, we had so much strength in depth last season but, as many of us have said, the manager just wasn't using it. There's so much potential even without a new signing and the new 25 man rule will level the playing field.

Don't understand the number 8 deal.

Number 4 must be chuffed  ;)
