Are they staying at Villa Park until new manager or Martin want to hire them in his next job (assuming people want him) ?
As they are loyalty assistant to Martin O'Neill.

To me that would tend to suggest that MON and his band of merry men may have somewhere to go to...possibly north of the border. Unless of course the club have paid em all up - its unusual for so many to resign en masse unless they are boxed off elsewhere.

More importantly what a brilliant username Salsa Party Animal is.

As I've predicted several times on here in the past, MON will be off to Newcastle. It wouldn't surprise me if the deal was done at the weekend.
How he'll manage to take Walford and Robertson with him will be interesting, as I'd imagine Chris Houghton is expected to work alongside MON, especially given his record with the Barcodes last season.
Tyneside can start preparing for the Messiah Mk VI. They're welcome to him.
-
As far as what O'Neill and his team do next, I really couldn't give a flying one.
-
O'Neill vs Villa on Monday week would be interesting.
-
Glad they have gone to be honest. Could never work out what they did and whenever I caught shots of them on the television, they looked slovenly and disinterested. Never inspired any confidence in me at all

They like people throwing their toys out. Keegan.
-
in the Mirror it says some players took the piss behind Walford and Robertsons back,
they nicknamed them 'bibs and cones' dont know whether its true but its still funny
-
I have it on good authority that John Robertson made negative remarks about our chance
of victory when asked by airport staff as the team left for Moscow-
Don't think much of a bloke who chain smokes outside entrance of Walsall FC either when
Academy lads are loading up the kit van two yards away -
Bye bye - enjoy your next job if you get one
-
MON will wait it out for the England job to become available, which is only a matter of time. He'll get it too.

Exactly what I was thinking Mark.
Though I reckon they'll give Chris Hughton at least until November.

That should go down well, moving to Newcastle.
O'Neill is a bit of a closet Mackem - he even promised that he would never ever manage Newcastle

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Not sure I have ever actually seen him doing anything. Looked about as far as from a football coach as possible to be honest...
-
Is it safe for me to say that Robertson reminds me of 8 Ace from Viz?
-
It was quite funny to see Walford and Robertson chain-smoking outside the players entrance just before going onto the pitch to do the warm-up though.
I'll kind of miss that in a Sunday football kinda way.

If you read the cloughie autobiog he didn't look much like a footballer either
didn't stop him lifting the league and the euro though ;)

Ha ha. I'd actually say that 8 Ace looks positively healthy and chipper compared to John "hack, cough, splutter" Robertson.
-
I don't think the players had huge respect for them to be honest. That's my gut feeling.
I wasn't aware of the chain smoking, that is quite poor form really.
-
Cloughy on Robertson's smoking
-
So MON, JR, SH and Seamus the goalkeeping Coach had left and who else is gone. Ian Storey Moore ?
That will help to reduce the wages bill. ;) as among with Harewood, Milner (Not yet), Shorey, Bouma, Marshall
how many coaching staff have we got left ?
-
ISM is the scout right ?
So what does he get paid for ...sitting at home watching Super Sunday ?
