Shorey Joins West Brom
The club can confirm that Nicky Shorey joined West Bromwich Albion today after agreement was reached between both clubs and the player.
An England international, Nicky signed for Aston Villa in August 2008 and made 39 appearances.
The club would like to thank Nicky for his dedicated service and wish him the very best in his future.
It must have the been the straw that broke the camel's back.

I understand this topic is worth discussing at some point, but giving a flying cack about Shorey leaving is rather difficult right now.

Are you kidding! Managers are replaceable, unused left backs are not. Get some perspective man.

good riddance... useless carp...

Farewell Tin Tin, thanks for everything. Don't forget to drag the bastards back down to where they belong.
-
I doubt that this had any baring to be honest. Still good luck to the lad
-
I nearly forgot about shorey with the mon business going on just hopes he can become secret agent shorey when we play them.
-
Good luck to the lad, always a very good player offensively but he was woeful as a defender!
-
Any news on the value of the sale? £1m?
-
The silence is deafening.
Good luck Nicky but remember when West Brom go up they must come down.

My Boggie supporting colleagues are really chuffed, especially due to Joe Mattock's forthcoming date with the beak. He'll do OK there - another signing I was happy with that turned out badly (Curcic, Collymore...)

He's the perfect example of a confidence player, MON never rated him, and obviously would never have signed him had Bouma not got crocked. IMO Shorey was never given a fair chance, and the same is and will happen to Luke Young, but who knows, especially as we ain't got a manager.
-
I wonder if he'll get to west Brom any quicker than he got off the pitch at Fulham the other year.
Good riddance, wanker.
-
A good signing by them.He will do a job for thm this season in the Prem , and will be excellent in the Champ next season.

Hairdresser by name....hairdresser by nature.
He won't be missed.
