He might be a good player, well sub-par, but he just seems like an unpleasent bloke . You seen this stuff he's being saying?!
“I am a versatile player. When I first signed for the club, I played up front. I have also played off the front man, I’ve played right, I’ve played left and I’ve even played in central midfield too,” said Young.
“There are a lot of positions I have played in. Wherever the manager wants me to play I am happy to play there. As long as I am in the starting XI, that’s all that counts.”
He is so arrogant! I found it on this Aston Villa Premier League article about Ashley Young (http://betting.betfred.com/713/sport-betting-news/football-betting/young-committed-to-villa-cause/)

God, don't even know where to begin with your post to be honest. As for that title....
-
Good post about probably our most talented player
Of course he wants to play compared to someone else going 90 miles north
-
Personally, I can only deal with slagging off two or three of our players at one time...
-
I struggle to see how a player saying he'll play wherever he's asked is a sign of arrogance. All he's saying is that he wants to play football, which is something that spotty Yorkshire freak will be doing a lot less next season.
-
I'm sorry but what on earth are you on about Villaross? I assume you didn't see Ashley's interview the other night when he was very humble and grateful to the club. He is someone that we definitely need to stay.
-
Got to be a wind up, surely.

Surely VillaRoss is being a bit sarcastic towards other players who want out?
-
I think this reassures me about the modern-day footballer more than anything. Good on him and long may he continue playing for us.
-
i just don't trust him. he's in it for his own gain
-
I have no idea what the purpose of this thread is and wish I hadn't wasted my time trying to find out.
-
Sweet baby Jesus and the orphans!
-
Yeah, he sounds like a right piece of work.
There are things that piss me off about him, some of the histrionics when he gets tackled, the same limp he tries at least 2/3 times per match to draw sympathy for the ref. The gestures to opposition fans that -lets face it- we would absolutely hate if he was doing it to us.
He has a touch or arrogance about his play, but you need that to have the kind of impact he's had.
Overall I'd say he's one of the good guys. Rarely outspoken and still seems keen to learn.

His gain ?
He wants to earn his wages Ross !
I have no reason to not like Luke Young and would be very happy if he stayed.
I have liked what I've seen of him so far and am in fact, very happy with this news.
-
Hang on, is Ross getting mixed up with Ashley ??
No......I am !!
Ashley Young, what a nasty nasty guys he is.
*head - wall*

I think all thread titles should have an element of the author's opinion in them.
"Villa agree deal with Flamini. Thought he did well against us three years ago".
-

It's only the same as you with your paper round, I bet you don't do that for the love of newsprint.
-
"Keane linked with Villa switch. I like his hair. "
-
The only issue I have with Young is that he has started going down too easier, and sometimes when the chips are done is found a little wanting.
Still the guy has remained pretty relieable throughout his time with us, has made a difference to the side, and unlike Milner does seem commited.

"Villa to sign mentally unstable Man City midfield player."

'Villa interested in busted flush 10-years-too-late Robbie Keane'

It doesn't take much for him to 'sprain' his ankle, weak, just weak.

"Ireland not in Ireland for Villa switch".

'MON rejects the chance to sign Darren Bent and Stephen Ireland, Chris Smith racks his member with delight until it resembles a Fiery Peperami'

"What's MON playing at? I'm a better fan than all of you lot"
-
"Randy, if you've got so much money why don't you spent it all this summer?"
-
"Mcgeady to sign for Villa, i've never seen him play but I reckon he'll be as effective as Shaun Maloney but cost four times as much".
-
"Heskey joins Leicester. Personally I always thought his best work was in The Green Mile."
-
'O'Neill completely removes the 'number 2' from his vocabulary and then has a 'number 2' in his pants when a proper 'number 2' is suggested to him by his very own 'number2'.
-
Has Ashley spent the summer getting rid of his annoying "pause/stutter" yet?
you know. Get the ball run down the wing, then wait so long to cross that everyone on the opposite team has got back and had a picnic?
-
I wish I was clever enough to get this thread

TROLL

Seriously, what is the point of this thread?
