Considering relocating tomorrow morning
Anyone else doing it?
-
Yes, been here four years but it's time to move on. Just hope the weather holds or our furniture'll get soaked! :o)
-
Where you moving to?
What time you queuing from?!
-
Is this that weird Canadian thing?
-
Into the countryside, nice place.
-
I was under the impression that the moveable day is the 7th of July!Anyone care to confirm it's tomorrow for the trinity family?
-
Not sure about the Trinity family, but it is 100% tomorrow for the B family.
-
Sure the ticket fella told me(and 3 others at different stages)it's the 7th for relocation

Are you moving closer to, or away from the Mango Tree?
-
A mile or so further away. Their main income source is safe.

I had a call from the ticket office yesterday asking if i still wanted my seats for me and my son as it was the last day, i think there will be plenty of seats empty as times are tight, i seriously thought about selecting matches this season but couldnt give up my perfect seats lower holte dead central.
-
The recession is beginning to bite for football clubs, unless you are from Eastlands and I predict lots of empty seats at grounds this season as fans pick and choose which matches to attend. The fact that England did so badly in the world cup can't help either. Receiving loads of emails etc from the club asking me to take up their offer of tickets. Not buying unfortunately as I have a teenager to put through university for the next 3/4 years!

Don't forget that you will have to bail him out when he can't find work - or any other excuses to fleece your retirement funds.

Already happening!

There's also a social aspect to not renewing. People now work longer hours and don't know if they can make rearranged games.
-
Just relocating in the same block but next to some mates. Took advantage of the lastest installment plan. Half paid yesterday - the other half 28th Sept.
-
Can't help but think that there's a chance I wont end up renewing - could have been so different if the club had offerred me even the tiniest renewal discount like they did in the distant past. Jus ten percent could have clinched it.....................
I am seriously afraid of becoming a 'pick n choose' merchant [sad face thingy]

Yes, as long as the seat you want has not been renewed.

Yes, as long as the seat you want has not been renewed.
Indeed, if you have already renewed for next season. They are just giving the folks that have already paid a head start in terms of moving seat if they want to.
-
I'm going to Man City. They're giving me more money and signing better players.
-
They'll only replace you with some dude from Barcelona when they win the league.
It happened to my mate Barry when he relocated there.

Lower North last year.....Took up the offer of reasonable seat prices offer in April/May of Wings in Lower Holte so bought 3 together for us in L7 row OO.
Was looking to move to lower seat number today to be more central to goal.......got too tempted and have paid a bit more and got 3 class seats in L5, row PP, 126-128. These are the claret seats across the "H" of THE above Holte End.
To have these seats available now surely means that we are struggling to sell ST to the quantity anywhre near of last year.
5 star service from David over the phone ferom the ticket office.

We've moved from the Holte (best part of 30 years man and boy) to the Trinity. Only because I can now have a moan about how "quiet" it is on the "terrace", leave with 20 minutes to go and bring a flask of tea without getting funny looks. I suppose it started a few years ago, when beige clothing in M&S started looking more fashionable. I'm looking forward to the view but feel part of my life is over!

Bad form. If you had stopped in L7 you would have been near me, Jane and Amfy.
-
Just relocated so that 2 of us can sit together. Very good seats - Lower Holte FF dead centre. Hardly anyone around, just a handful of us trying out new seats.
-
We are in row FF as well Frank.

Move on Fletch, move on, that were years ago man. There must have been other excitements in your life?

The most exciting thing Mark has discovered of late is a fine new moustache wax.

And me now. L7 needs a Doom Metal contingent and I'm the man to wear the T-shirt.
-
Are you sat with them? That would put you within throwing distance of me.

"with them"?!! :) If you are referring to me & amfy, yes he is! (We needed someone to get the pints in at half time)

Under The Coalition (Actually that does sound a bit 80's, Sci-fi Baddies doesn't it?) one cannot turn down any offer of employment, don't you know.
-
I've relocated today over the phone. Dealt with very efficiently.

You won't get much use out of Anthony in that regard. We are lucky if he buys himself a pint!
Be warned Mike, if I get bored at the game I throw Rolo's at the head of bald men and blame it on the kid in front of me.
-
Im in L6, I can throw bigger stones at you from a greater distance.
-
I am by an entrance so make sure you don't hit the jobsworth steward next to us.

Must cost you a fortune in Rolo's!

I do think the atmosphere is a bit crap there.
They all pretend to be dead.

If you were looking out from the Holte, I am to the immediate right of the first exit point sat level with the wall at the top.
This has the advantage of meaning there are in essence only 7 people in our row and at no point do we have to get up for anyone else.

To be fair I should point out that one thing Jane and I never really struggle with is getting beer!
