Well,
its been 5 years or so since I had my last season ticket [got new one for this season] so I thought I would look back at what had changed at Villa Park while I have been away...
O'Leary out
O'Neil In
Ellis out
Lerner in
Holte Pub finally refurbed
Banners and images relating the the clubs greatest moment adorning Villa Park
Giant flags on the Holte End
Charity shirt sponsors
Dave Woodhall's books finally being excepted into the Villa shop
New club badge
New club shirts.....
Defeat in a cup final [not really a change]
A change in playing staff...
2005
Sorensen
Delaney
Samuel
Melberg
Wittingham
Laursen
Barry
Hendrie
McCann
Angel
Baros
2010
Friedel
Cueller
Dunne
L Young
Warnock
Milner
Petrov
A Young
Downing
Heskey
Agbonlahor
Well its good to know somethings don't change
2005: a nimble fast striker that can score goals playing along side a striker that seems to forget that scoring goals is what he is paid for
2010: a nimble fast striker that can score goals playing along side a striker that seems to forget that scoring goals is what he is paid for

The only problem with the highlighted section I have is that I'm struggling to tell which one is which.

I dont think much of your reworking of the Hokey Cokey Mark. Perhaps you should spend the next 5 years working on it.

I think he was being sarcastic. The optimistic, forward looking Villa fan is a rare beast in cyberspace I think. Much more common in real life in my experience.

i've never understood why Delaney is/was so rated. he was a good Prem defender and no more. Luke Young is streets ahead.
And as for Angel...A choice between him and Heskey then maybe but no way is ahead of Carew. For me, anyway.

How about the final league positions and performances in the cups, have they changed at all?

Talk of changes, I heae Hodgson has accepted the Liverpool job
