Title: On-line Season Ticket 2010-11: Scheme issues
Post by: Legion on May 28, 2010, 07:58:28 PM
Just renewed. How come it's not possible to join one of the schemes on-line aswell? Or am I missing something? I'd like to renew my cup ticket option. Seems like I have to do it via the .pdf form.

No option for an on-line application. Off to VP I go this week.

I did mine over the phone and they said they will send out a form for me to sign and send back which hasn't arrived yet so I am going have to call them up tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure they said it has to be in before the end of the month so I will probably miss the free game now.

Yes, I renewed online last night but then called today and was advised that for the Cup Scheme the form had to be filled in, posted, and be with them by the above (extended) date. Seems a strange way to administer it all and rather takes the efficiencies out of renewing online in the first place.

I think it is something to do with taking, possibly, different amounts out of the given account on different occasions.  They need an actual written signature authorising them to do so.  With the season ticket renewal it is just one transaction.

Think this is what I was told when I renewed mine - but I might be talking a load of cobblers!

When I clock here there is no option to but season tickets.

I just end up going round in a circle!

I'm logged in with the client ref I used to buy online last year!

Scroll right to the bottom of the page and look under the section 'Memberships'.

I don't want to be a member, I want to renew my ticket.

Maybe I'm just been lazy and should cart my ass down to Villa Park.

You renew your ticket in that area where it says My Season Tickets (https://www.eticketing.co.uk/avfc/details/event.aspx?itemref=5475)

A ha, it appears I was using the incorrect login.

Cheers for the guidance though.
