Heaton, Guilbert, Engels, Mings, Hause, Nakamba, Luis, McGinn, Trez, AEG, Grealish

More pace at the back required and Wes needs to be taken out.

I like this team but I bet Wes plays.

My dad is taking my mum to this, and although a Leicester fan, he loves us, too. He'll be in the Holte End cheering for Villa. My mum will just be cold, bless her. But she'll support us, too. I'll have to make do with DAZN, and hope we beat them. I don't like Leicester at all after growing up there, but they're doing very well.

Exactly the team I'd go with.  No chance of Hause playing though, as he was dropped from the squad for Taylor, and no way that Wesley won't start.

Looking forward to what should be a good game. Engels and Guilbert back in, please. Nakamba and Luiz to start, Hourihane prowling the touchline like a caged panther til midway through the second half. Mings reduces his 'potentially fatal mistakes per game' count by 1. Neither fullback picks up a booking.
3-2, Wes, Engels, McGinn for us, Smith and Lynex for Lesta.

Always hated Leicester despite their shiny manager and good young players since we lost 1-0 after Pat McMahon's goal was disallowed after it went in via the stanchion (ask your Dad's) and I got beaten up in the car park by about ten of them as a 14 year old.
Just beat the fuckers.

Oh, and as an aside, I was trying to see if there was any news on El Ghazi ahead of the game. Headlines from the Birmingham Mail site fill the feed. What's f***ing wrong with those people???

They've won 8 in a row (7 league games).  That has to end sometime.

They just keep on coming.

This will be a tricky test, especially if we go for it. Nakamba needs to come back in for this, along with Guilbert and Engels.

Can't decide whether Taylor or Targett should be in on the left either, so I'll go with Taylor.

I'd consider leaving SJM out for a rest,i worry he'll get injured if he keeps playing, and he's been off the pace recently.

Though that's a lot of change.

Villa win, based on nothing but blind loyalty. I'm sure we'll give them a game, create a few chances, have a few balls-ups at the back, etc. We're due a win, so why not.

Leicester beat us at home in my first ever Villa game, so I always have a little extra hope that we will beat them. After that I generally wish them well.
it wasn’t my first Villa game, but was my first time on the Holte and first night match- Villa v Leicester in the league cup around 82. We beat them eventually on penalties I think.

A bit harsh, drop him, yes, but let the lad live :-)

I firmly believe in sequences and 7 straight wins is something else but will come to an end sooner rather than later. Full house and a swashbuckling, high paced display from us will halt it, hopefully with a win but perhaps a draw.

2-1.
