I was watching him and thought what a wonderful experience. Well done to the players as well for encouraging him.

That's great woz. That memory will last a lifetime unlike the sting of the result. Never know, you could have a future baller on your hands there

I saw him doing keepie ups using both feet and thought how good it was to see someone so young doing so. Well done George

Thanks all, he came home from school still buzzing about it. Bought a frame to put some photos in it yesterday too.

He’s been at West Brom’s Talent ID for the past year and a bit and got scouted by Villa in the summer at a local tournament and now attends their development centre on Wednesdays. Has played against the Villa Academy side at Bodymoor Heath with his team Kidderminster Lions a year or so ago. Any kids dream to be on the pitch at Villa Park so he’s already done that but you never know! All great experiences you can take with you forever if nothing ever comes of it.

Players were great with him as was Mick Dale who took us round, I’m sure many of you know Mick, Villa through and through.

I tend to be in a bit of a blank daze during the half time break just waiting for the second half but I did notice a young kid doing some keepy-uppys thinking that he looked pretty impressive.

Good stuff!

Absolute quality. He looks like he has got a good pass on him as well

I’m a bit jealous actually. In nearly 50 years of supporting Villa I’ve always wanted to go on the pitch and never managed it!
