A dreadful team selection. Treating “our cup” with disrespect. I would rather play the first team tonight and win and play this team on Saturday.
But you must realise that this years ‘second 11’ Are much improved from previous regimes prem/championship starting 11.
That 11 plus bench should be good enough to beat what’s in front of them

Slightly disappointed with the line up.  Would have rested Mings and McGinn, but wouldn't have made too many other changes really.

Why play such a weakened team, relatively speaking, on Saturday? Tonight's first XI should be strong enough to beat what is in front of them. Save the first choice XI for Saturday.

I’m a bit disappointed tbh, would love to do well in this competition. Come on Villa

Wolves' average age is 19 and I haven't heard of any of their subs. If we can't beat them with the team we've put out then theres something wrong.

Is this intended ironically or are you for real? We have players banging down the door for game time and our 1st XI starting to pick up niggles and you want us to keep the team as it was 4 days ago?

This team can do well. You really want to write this side off before even seeing them kick a ball?

No I haven’t written anything off, maybe Engles and Guilbert could have started, would be happier with a stronger looking defence, but let’s hope the lads playing take the chance and have a stormer

We're putting out a much stronger 11 than Wolves, not sure what else people expect.
