Second yellow for Fernandino for  bringing down Davis from behind

I thought Guilbert did pretty well against Sterling considering Trezeguet offers nothing in defense..

Bottom half team goes to Champions and lose 3-0. Big shock. We’ve done ok, actually played fairly well first half. Bit of a repeat of the Tottenham game really.

Love the way the ball sticks to Davis.  surely he's earned a start?  Or Wesley has earned it for him?

I think we've played well for large parts of the game. First goal Mings should have beat Jesus to the header for Sterling, and the second goal was offside and VAR can eat shit. We've been outscored, but little else.

Even Beglin pointed out that Davis has done more than Wesley.

Plenty for me. Easily kept them at bay 1st half.

Gave away a really really soft goal 20 seconds into second half, and VAR bullshit later the game was over.

Just a question. Does a red for two yellows reset the yellow card count ie: where five yellows would ordinarily  mean a ban ? Just wondered if this is a tactical ref to get a ban v Southampton in the LC rather than carry the card count into more crucial games ??
