Ghost town would be more appropriate.

I’ve heard they’re leaving St Andrews and playing here next season.

*applause*

Headline in the local paper: Not Too Special.

I think there's going to be a lot of that sort of thing.

I bet Terry Hall won’t be wearing it. To be fair I liked their blue one with the black and white stripes down the front in the seventies but that was when I was young and I didn’t give much of a shit about football rivalries.

At one point in the seventies Coventry had a brown away kit that was so bad it was actually quite good. In the way that if you showed it to people they would pause and then say "Oh, that's different".

I think the brown one was the away version of the blue one I mentioned

It was indeed. Wales also had a  red version with a thin yellow / black stripe. That was the kit they wore when they were robbed in a world cup play off / deciding game at Anfield  for the 1978 world cup. The Welsh FA in their wisdom decided to play at Anfield for extra gate receipts (the Welsh grounds were all very small back then) and the Scots just filled all 4 sides of the ground. Joe Jordan flicked the ball with his hand in the box and the referee awarded Scotland a penalty.

That Coventry kit is brilliant.  Obviously though, I wouldn't wipe my arse with it seeing as it's that bunch of no marks.

Nice new kit....
Same old shit....
Cov are finished.....done with.
Dreadful support given the population of the city and its surrounding areas.
I sometimes wonder what the people of Coventry are into....
There's only so many times you can visit IKEA off that flipping ring road from hell

I've had to come to Coventry a few times in the last few months.  There's literally nowhere on earth I'd rather drive round less than that fucking ring road.

The fact that a London rugby team were getting better attendances than Coventry in their own city says how pathetic their support is. Yet another pointless club that only cares about their team when they're in the same division as Villa. And even then, only for two games a season.

Still, cool kit.

The club is done with unless they find another magical icon like Jimmy hill who for better or worse was Mr Coventry and virtually built them and refound the from nothing

They are what they are - a club that punched above its weight for a couple of decades (for which they should be applauded) and have been shafted by a series of owners (for which they should have our sympathy). I don't care what they think about us; the more who hate us the more important we are.
