I remember the Sarnders thing as well.

I also remember a fellow fan who we used to talk to coming and joining us on the Holte end just before kick off in a match towards the end of that first season when we were runners up to Man Utd. He'd been to some pre-match hospitality thing which included a little Q&A with Deano, he described Deano as one of the most unpleasant surly fuckers he'd ever come across. He was absolutely raging and was booing him on his own for a little while into the game.

Really liked him as a player but for that pathetic behaviour he can go fuck himself as I have no sympathy for any driver who selfishly thinks they can get behind a wheel after drinking

I am far from being a class warrior but anyone with money can afford a taxi home - people like him can afford a driver so there can never be an excuse other than selfishness

There's some very good footballers and ex footballers that have had major problems with drink

Best, Adams, Gaza, Merson, Mcgrath and loads more on top of that

maybe Saunders needs help in that area
