VAR doesn't look at dives? Is this true?

It would if the onfield decision was to award a penalty but in our context then no it wouldn't.

I've never understood the myht that Palace's ground is difficult to get to (more than say Brighton or Norwich). Its an easier walk from public transport than Spurs.

Isn't the main problem that coming from anywhere North of London you have over an hour of travelling once you get to say Euston or Kings Cross? I went to a midweek game down there years ago (probably late 90s) and I remember it being a fucking nightmare to get back across the city to get our train. I've never bene to Brighton but I have done Norwich and whilst it was a long journey we knew exactly what we were getting into so it didn't feel as bad (I've been to Plymouth for a game, not Villa, as well and that's an awful journey from almost anywhere).

It's not the walk that an issue, it's the getting to the bit where you walk.

I do remember though in my punk days my spiky hair getting a bit ruined during the half hour walk in torrential rain from Severn Sisters. I then found myself getting somewhat animated about a couple of refereeing decisions and had about two thousand Tottenham fans shouting "sort your mullet out" at me. 😢

Serve you right for not going to White Hart Lane overground.

Another good read Dave, well balanced article as usual.

This VAR thing needs sorting and sharpish or else scrapping until the powers that be have worked out how to use it!

it's a question of semantics, isn't it?

Is friend useless or corrupt?

Were Villa cheated of a point, as well as discriminated against throughout the match?

If so, who cheated them?
