In the tenth game of the season, the Miami Marlins finally get their first win

The Yankees and the Pirates are 8-2!

The Red Sox have a rare trip to Pittsburgh later in the month - of course, I will be in Florida.

Last time they were here I went to all 3 games and it was excellent.

Just had a look to see how many games I've attended in Pittsburgh

Two at old Three Rivers (first was in 1998)
Twelve at PNC Park (most recent in 2016)

Plus one NFL (Raiders @ Steelers) and one NCAAF (Ohio @ Pitt) at Heinz Field - both in 2004

Nothing like a Steelers home game against a good opponent in the cold weather, the atmosphere is usually fantastic.  Pitt is hit or miss, mostly miss unfortunately as they are playing in too big of a stadium for their fanbase (being off-campus doesn't help the students either).

Three Rivers sadium was already gone by the time I got here.....but I did go to it's ugly sister staidum in Philly back in the 90's on a trip from the UK to see my brother who was studying in Philly.
