Great performance.

I can’t remember a league game with the ground so noisy and so supportive and my first game was in 1982. Great scenes, brilliant atmosphere. It’s good to be back.

Southgate was there tonight, Reckon he liked what he saw from our English players...?

Grealish should be in his squad anyway, for the last couple of seasons Id argue, but dont think he has been at his very best this season yet

Given Southgate doesnt have Smalling in his squad because of his limitations with the ball, I suspect Mings may suffer likewise

That was as good an atmosphere as there's been down there for a long time. It was rocking in the last 10 minutes. The crowd certainly helped get the team over the line.

We worked hard, took our chances & gave as good as we got.

There are no negatives from tonight. UTV

Better atmosphere than the play off final, if that’s even possible. Fucking brilliant.
I watched on the TV and can’t recall a better atmosphere.
Sunderland 6-0

Not a patch on tonight!

I’m sorry everyone.  They were truly heroic tonight.

However I did say play Guilbert and drop El Ghazi :-).

Mings is very capable with the ball, certainly with a long pass.

A superb night.
You can see the team are learning how to be a premier league team and we are getting better with each game.

Stand out players were Mengles, Wes and McGinn.
But a special mention for Freddy who was superb. It was his debut at this level and you would never have guessed.

As for the fans and the atmosphere.....truly brilliant.
I think a contributing factor is that because we have sold so many season tickets, the ‘singers’ and noisemakers are spread all around the stadium and so now the atmosphere comes from all sides of the ground.
Whatever the reason, it was bloody ace.

Well guys I have to take the credit for Wes’s goal after I said he was a poor Heskey.  I knew that post would do the trick.

I’ll get my coat........
