Their repertoire of songs was always pathetically small too, that’s if they sang at all.

I didn’t realise they had beef. Kind of sad that there is unrequited hate. They’re the ultimate meh club to me, bang middle of the road, very few interesting seasons at either end of the table in recent years. Very little to like or dislike.

Shouldn't they think the same about us?

I will start to worry what's in store for us, if we lose our first two at Home and three on the bounce.

Another full house, under the floodlights, PL cobwebs blown away, and big mistakes well and truly out of our system.

2-1 to us.

I'm quite fond of Everton really, don't get the animosity the other way.

They hate everybody. Donkeys years of being also rans in an part of the country, surrounded by clubs they've no chance of emulating.

I have a bit of a soft spot for Everton, always thought of them as a proper club (what with their history/ground/classic matches between us and players that played for both clubs etc). I think one of the problems with other clubs fans is that we have been that poor (in the PL) and mismanaged for that long that their perception of us has changed, especially with younger fans. We did stink the PL out for quite some time under project young and hungry (pretty criminal really).

I don't mind Everton, but they do have the bitterest fans I've ever come across. You could marinate an Albion fan in tonic water and serve him on a bed of radicchio and he wouldn't be as bitter as an Everton fan.

I've always found them very whingey and moany, so by the end of a game at Goodison, you've had enough of them.

They're quite a subdued fanbase home and away regardless of numbers.

During the MOTD highlights against Watford last weekend, even the commentator mentioned how quiet it was inside the ground.

Can't see why we shouldn't be winning a game like this.  We were all rightly fed up when we were accused of doing a Fulham in the summer, so I'm not going to sit back and quietly accept doing a Fulham.

Yeah they probably should and the majority probably do but thetes an element who seem to dislike our club and fans for some reason. Out of the fisrt few posters on their forum several say they actively hate us. Bit strange really as we don't hate them. Oh well fuck em anyway. C'mon you Villa boys

Yeah, I don't mind Everton. I'll hate them if they beat us on Friday, but that'd be the same with any team that does so. And then I'll gradually go back to not minding them.

Far more likeable than scummy clubs like Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle.

Agreed. We haven’t played badly in two games and lost both. Eventually if we play well consistently and continue to improve on the disciplines of the game the mental mistakes should decline and we will win. No reason why it can’t be Friday.
