Good summary Dave. The very last sentence is certainly true, it is clear that all the ingredients purchased in just one window are starting to settle into what looks a decent outfit that shouldn't fear anyone.

Typo in the first sentence.

"Author Pete Davis once wrote a great book about the then-dominant Doncaster Belles womens’ team. During the time he followed them, they suffered a series of setbacks and towards the end of the seaosn"

Good read.

I think sadly many officials still referee "the name" e.g. did Pereria even get a yellow?

A very entertaining mid table 2.2 draw. It is what makes the Premier League great.

On my way back from Manchester this morning I enjoyed reading various reports on the game, and yours was one of many encouraging assessments of where Villa now are. I've probably seen all of our games at OT since Gabby's winner a decade ago and many before that. It's so refreshing to see a Villa side step out at this intimidating ground in front of a 73,000 crowd and play without fear - and, equally pleasingly, continue to press after falling behind. We're getting there.
