We had a legendary trip to Norwich on New Years Day 1992. One of our mates worked at Land Rover and had borrowed something like an eight seater Land Rover for the journey. He had had a fairly tame New Years Eve with his family as he was due to be the driver the following day. The rest of us did not have tame New Years Eves. Everyone met at my parents house first thing. I looked in the mirror and I did not look great after the night before. After that everyone I opened the door to looked progressively worst than the last one. The last person to walk through the door was my old next door neighbour who was so pale he looked like a ghost. I had to tie his laces up because he said every time he had bent down to try he had felt dizzy. I lost count of the number of times he threw up out of the Land Rover window on the journey down. It seemed to be a constant cycle of him being sick, perking up and saying he felt better and then going quiet and then being sick again for the whole journey. Considering we all felt rough it was a miracle he didn't set the rest of us off.We lost 2-1.
Long shot I know, but I’m looking for one under 18 / youth ticket for Saturday if anyone can help.
Has anybody got a spare?Happy to pay over the odds, trying to avoid the jobs my wife has lined up for me.
