Played most of the game in a 2-1 win for Zimbabwe today (got subbed in the 94th minute). That, however is only a backdrop to revealing the best name ever - https://twitter.com/online_zifa/status/1196810659356463104 - check the number 16.
I bet he's seen a slice of life. Hope he don't get burned!

It's a good effort but I'd hoped for a few more.

That's a genuine laugh out loud moment, and after a particularly iffy day that's really welcome. Thank you.

have an extra slice on me

btw our new hero Toaster is a goalie if that helps.
(Denies rumours he has a proclivity to slip his Zambian 4WD into reverse)

Nakamba was rubbish today. Thankfully Conor came on for him!

Luiz was worse and they clearly can’t play in the same side. Keeping Douglas in to keep a tick in a box for his work permit doesn’t benefit Aston Villa.

I don't know what's happened in recent weeks. He was excellent when he first came into the team.

Luiz has potential but sometimes overcomplicates things unnecessarily. At one point he had the time to bring the ball under control and lay it off to Jack but instead tried to volley it over a Norwich player to him and ended up losing possession. Brilliant clearance off the line though.

Who the heck is scouting these duds?
What worries more than anything is - if we go down who on earth will buy all this crap off us?

But Smith keeps playing players out of form. Nakamba and Wesley don't deserve a starting place at the moment. Smith will probably drop man of the match Kortney Hause for Mings on Saturday! I'd probably agree with shifting Kortney to left-back as Targett was poor and put Tyrone back in at CB ( if fit of course).

At home in a game we needed to win it was a negative move to play both Nakamba and Luiz over Conor. Thankfully a change was made andm Conor bagged the winner. It was Nakamba's worst game for us by a good distance.

Don’t disagree but can sort of understand the idea, presuming it was to give a bit more protection to the defence that has looked wide open recently. Unfortunately it wasn’t particularly successful and we lost an attacking player as well, hence Connor making a difference when he came on.

Rubbish, Luiz was way better than Nakamba! Thankfully, DS put Conor on to save Nakamba further embarrassment.
