What a player this guy is! Not just his defending, but in his forward play. Love him.

I love Mings and Engels more than any defensive pairing we've ever had.

That’s big Risso. I may never overcome my first love of Alan & Ken, you’re old enough to have seen them no? But basically as an adult, I might agree.
BOTH are looking, well what would be the plural of collosus?

He is a superb player. For us to find a CB to immediately and perfectly compliment Mings is some going on the part of the clubs scouting department.

apparently Deano had him on his radar at Brentford.
He is class for sure.

Evans + McNaught, Mellberg + Laursen ...
Maybe; just maybe ...

To be honest, Mings plus anyone would have a chance of being my favourite at the moment, but the way Engels has come in and just adjusted so effortlessly is brilliant.  They're a completely new pairing but look like they've played together for years.

With Freddie's pace, I wonder whether a back three of Mings, Engels and Konsa would be worth looking at. Freddie and Targett down the flanks would be pretty awesome, and it would mean we can be more compact in the middle.

As a pair i think they might end up being mine if they carry on in the same vein for a few years. They do look special.
I'm thinking about some of the trio's we had in the 90's though, McGrath, Mountfield, Neilson / McGrath, Southgate, Ugo / Southgate, Ugo, Barry. Those were all a bit good.

He looks a little bit like a young Nicholas Lyndhurst from Only Fools and Horse.  Rodney?

Rodney and the Emperor. Magic.

He looks absolutely nothing like him but it's as good a nickname as any. Rodney it is then.

Funny that, I was thinking the other day, who was the last Dave/David we had playing first-team football for us?  The only one that came to mind was Ginola, any other offers?
