Not had mine yet. Weren’t you supposed to use the card when purchasing anything in the ground, food drinks etc to give you some kind of reward points or am I missing the point? I got mine purely to get the chance to buy tickets. If true and we’re nearly at the third home game it’s all a bit shoddy.

Trying to purchase a drink in the Holte Suite is hard enough without one of the ‘bar staff’ putting some kind of points on a reward card.

I'm still waiting for my membership pack. Maybe we should all tie a claret ribbon round the old oak tree or something.

It’s just like contactless. You load money onto it from your debit card & then just use it at the ground like it was your debit card. Doesn’t take any extra time to be served.

It’s shit isn’t it. I’m in it mainly for access to tickets so fair enough, not much impact, but my daughter is excited about the swag and for her a few months may as well be 1,000 years.

Just a daft missed opportunity because it could and should have been a nice source of positive vibes and engagement with fans rather than something vaguely annoying and half assed feeling.

Cubs stuff finally arrived today. Turns out I already had mine ages ago as there was no pack this year. The childrens gift vouchers were in theirs with the same letter I got. Got the gifts at the Swansea game last year, they hadn't been around for long before. If we're lucky we may see them for the Burnley game. I hope it's by Brighton as I can actually get to that one.

As I have found out the ticket office can actually print off the card in about a minute - just had a re-print issue with my season ticket

I've tweeted them asking if I can have a complimentary 3rd kit when they get round to sending out claret membership packs. It's not as if many will be buying them.

I've also e-mailed the ticket office to point out that I still live in hope of getting one of these fabled packs.

Reply from ticket office:

Quote from: Ticket sales AVFC
We are very sorry for the delays in sending out membership cards. Unfortunately, we have had problems with printing the cards due to the unprecedented demand we have experienced. The matter has now been resolved and the membership packages are being compiled and dispatched in the coming days. We are prioritising those who have been waiting longest. In the meantime, you can still use the ticket voucher benefit of the membership as this will have been linked to your fan ID upon sign-up.

They are giving priority to those who paid their subs in 1989.

I got our children’s today, but not mine. Last year my lad got a pack full of the tat that kids like, badges, stickers etc. This year, you get the membership card and a voucher. That’s it.

If it's any consolation at all, we're not the only club crap at getting membership packs out.
Stumbled across these tweets whinging about Spurs having the same issues.
