I know it's technically an annoying result, but I do get a real satisfaction from things like Sheffield United beating Arsenal. Proper find getting proper results as just deserts from hard work and good football - it's difficult to not be warmed by that.

Agreed.

Great stuff from Chichester and i'm quite glad it's a non-league club that got the bye.

Quote
Non-league Chichester City - the lowest ranked club in the FA Cup - received a bye to the second round following Bury's removal from the competition.

Chichester, seventh in the eighth-tier Isthmian League South East Division, were the final club left in the pot at the end of Monday's first-round draw and receive 36,000 in prize money.

After the draw, Chichester announced they would make a donation to Bury.

We should have beaten Arsenal, that's the one game that had me fuming this season. Way things are going this season surely we'll get a win against one of the "big six".

There's a "big two" and a well below par - four this season.

Down to DS I am afraid, they really are not that good and the week before we played them Watford tore into them and scored 2 second half goals.

Looks like the recovering Otamendi and Stones aren't being risked tonight and will therefore at least one rotated in v Villa.
Think some who are bench will play Saturday 1230pm but be interesting to see how Atlanta get on. They are quite attacking them selves so could be a few goals and an open type game

Man city win but maybe some small injuries nothing too bad just a turned ankle for ederson or other minor injuries to sterling and aguero so they miss match v villa. Though some of these starting won't play Saturday

Last night's result is one I would have happily applauded last season but just as I hoped all of the top half Championship teams would lose last season I am hoping all the bottom half Premier league teams lose this season.

Top v bottom according to SKY (maybe they were referring to the live table as it stands). Unfortunately I will have to cheer on Albion as I have them in one of my acca bets tonight.
