Tammy on and the french commentators are saying what a great club villa is!

They are correct!

Apparently that bloke who just hoofed the ball into his own goal, having gone at it with his wrong foot, is wanted by Manchester United but Crystal Palace want more than 50 million for him.  I'd never heard of him before this evening.

And that tackle by Choudhury was truly a shocker!  Hopefully the French player who was stretchered off is ok.

Just seen it again.  Truly shocking tackle.  Brainless and potential leg breaker.

Thing is hes worth what twats like Man U will pay for him. And Palace know that, just as Leicester know it with McGuire, or before that Mahrez and Kante. We need to be the club that finds these players and sells them on for stupid amounts of money as we ourselves establish ourselves in the league.

After being held in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City in the past two seasons, the Carabao Cup first-round draw for the 2019-20 campaign will take place a little closer to home - in a London supermarket.

Seventy clubs will discover their first-round opponents when ex-England midfielders John Barnes and Ray Parlour make the draw at the Colindale branch of Morrisons at 19:00 BST on Thursday.

Maybe they can get Saint and Greavsie and Donald Trump to do it again!

Dean Henderson in goal had a cracking game last night. Looks a player with a bright future.

How is it that Solanke gets a start before Abraham? Doesn't seem right to me.

Ben Obi Wan-Bissaka looked anything but a 60m player last night, and actually stopped Henderson from easily gathering the flick for the second French goal with his wrong foot mis-kick.  Choudhuri , what an idiot. For all their skills, and despite exhortations from the bench to play it out, the England players resorted to O'Neill style hoofing when down to 10 men.  It was always going to end badly.

If we buy Ben Obi Wan does he come boxed including light saber?

No posts in this forum for two hours?!

Anyway such a Scotland way to go out of a major tournament but thought the reffing at the end was disgrace. Play stopped at 86th minute so she consults VAR for penalty. Takes three minutes looking at screen, awards penalty. It's finally taken in 91st minute. Then retake is ordered and scored 94th minute.

Full time whistle blown 96th minute. They should still be playing now.

Retake was harsh as I've seen keepers pretty much on the six yard box saving penalties and play just continues. Most penalties will have to be continually retaken next season if it's as strict as that tonight.

I, for one, am shocked that Sky have chosen Salford fucking City's first game for live television coverage.

Because Man U don't get enough exposure, it's nice for them to have two teams in the sodding league.
