Fucking hell. I just looked at his picture. I’m convinced I went to school with him. If it’s who I think it is he went to King Edwards Aston with me and is it at least was a huge Nose. And if it’s who I think it is I played a lot of sports with him. He was a super footballer and rugby player.
You and William... I love having posh fans :)

We are both royalty in a way Olly. Granted I’m a couple thousand rungs below but royalty nonetheless.

Is there any way of getting a hold of someone at the club via email so I can get a hold of Mark? There is only emails like club shop and I tried the latter asking them to forward for me and it was just shit. The reply I got was "this isn't the right dept". No shit dippy, my note started "I realise this isn't the right dept but can you help or forward..."

Hi
I have just registered when i read the words king edwards aston.
I am French and have been a Villa fan for over 35 years now.
It may sound weird. My son Theo is also a villa fan.
I taught French at King Edwards Aston from sept  1983 to june 1984.
I think the head if the French department was Mr John whom the kids then called tough John.
Does it ring any bell?
Anyway thank you all flr this forum. I feel less isolated. My user name is scovilla because i am from Angers.

Tsk! You have to put a space before an exclamation mark in French. ;-)

Bienvenue !

Mr John  was my first form teacher back in 1964. I attended from 1964 until 1971. Notable teachers included  Puffer Hayden, Harry  (I may be small but I'm tough) Tyson,  Ernie (nipplers) Entwhistle, Slasher (geography) and many more that turned me into what I am now (a miserable old git)!
