No one ever chants ‘Your stadium’s too big for you’ or ‘Shall we fill your stadium for you?’

Ground rather than stadium, but park is best.

Definitely ground and not stadium. Stadiumhog day just sounds silly.

I know both are technically correct, but I still prefer "stadia" to "stadiums".
Are you a Roman or something?

Hats off to QPR for renaming Loftus Road the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium after a youth player who died recently. Lovely touch.

He actually died in 2006 but nevertheless a super story and fantastic gesture by QPR fans who voted for this. Also his family must be commended in how that handled it all especially his dad who since Kiyan’s passing has done a lot of work in the community against knife crime and gang violence.

That pen should say "sport" not "sports". Grrrrrr. Pet hate of mine, along with this recent change to  two time instead of twice, or locker room instead of changing rooms. I could go on.

Surely it is "sports" as it hosts football and rugby?

I always grew up with just the term sport, which covered all sport, World of Sport on telly, the local sport centre etc. Only when Sky came along did I hear it become sports, making it all jazzy and American like.
