This widespread negativity all means one thing. Buy one, don’t wear it and keep the tags on and in ten years it’ll be worth a lot more than you paid for it.

In all honesty, this kit will be obsolete in no time at all so little point worrying about it.

It looks like something Spider-man might wear.

I've got the old green and black one as a 5-a-side shirt. I don't mind this one. But then I'm just odd.

I don't mind it. 90's nostalgia and all that. But Kappa make awful quality kits, and so won't be buying any of them.

I like it, apart from the orange sponsor and other symbols. Would be better in black.

If they were going to do a “tribute” to that kit they should have just done just that i.e stripes etc and be done with it. As it is it’s kind of crap.

I don't see the problem either. For me it perfectly fits with what a third kit should be. It's something that will be used a couple of times at most and it has to be completely different from the home and away kits.

Those 2 factors seem perfect to decide to do something very different. You won't always get it right but I'd rather this than just a 'safe' option every time. Given our colour scheme the 3rd kit should be green, yellow or black, so long as it's one of those and it's not just a recolour of the main kit then I'm  happy for it.

I will at this point hold my hand up and admit that I absolutely love some of the truly bizarre stuff Stade Francais have had over the last 10-15 years because it's so different and brave, that's probably enough to show that my view on sports kits is probably a bit different to most of you. Their 3rd kit from 3-4 years ago was my favourite:

I quite like "different" kits as well.  Just not when they're shit, though.

If it's different lots of people will think it's shit, that's just the nature of it.

I wouldn't buy this one (mainly because the quality is absolutely fucking awful) but I don't have an issue with it and I suspect some people will really like it.

Worth remembering that back in 1993, plenty of people hated the green & black kit, yet when Score Draw reproduced them a few years ago, the yoof went mad for them.  No accounting for taste innit?

I like the kit you posted above, and I own a lot of very odd looking kits (it's sort of a hobby).  But the response to the 3rd kit has been almost universally negative.  And it's by Kappa, so it's a horible kit, badly made.

I agree with the Kappa bit, I guess my point is that I'd rather see them swing and miss than not try at all. That Stade kit is truly special (I love the one with the pink and blue flowers as well - https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71RItgmtVCL._SL1500_.jpg) and you only get stuff like that by taking bold decisions.
