Tommy Craig pic from the OS, he moved to Swansea on this day in 1979.

That kit is perfect.

Don't like the colour of the umbro badge. Should be white.  8)
I had one of those shirts and I think the Umbro badge was white. I can recall being a tad miffed when I noticed it was blue on on the players.

I must admit the colours seem ok but the true test is the time I see one in real life.

As for the design - I am happy its traditional but also don't mind when we go a little "off piste" like we do with away shirts - I tend to buy the away shirt more often than home

Quality - again pictures are deceiving but the one that Mings is wearing on the OS looks like I sewn it together - again maybe its a mock up rather than as real one but the mock up does look a bit naff

the Umbro badge was white on the "official" kit as well. There were variations though - some white, some blue, some white with "Umbro" writtren underneath. And the earlier Umbro logo was weird - a sort of white and black/dark blue effort

Sorry for being such a nerd.

Exactly, it should not be difficult.

That's bang on.

I don't mind different collars and a bit of detail here and there. And they can go as off piste as they like with the away kit. But I'd like them to stick to that claret on the body and that blue on the arms.

When do we expect new kit in Villastore? Nothing there today and staff had no clue.

For anyone going to the Minnesota game apparently kits will be available to buy on the day. Not sure if it’s home only or all of them.

I completely agree. For me, they are our colours and anything else is a cheap imitation.

That blue is the blue. Would like to go back to that instead of the washed-out pale milk hue we have now, but ho hum, not the end of the world.
agree with that mate- that’s the blue right there. Makes a lighter claret look a bit darker to my eyes. I think the lighter washed out blue sleeves of recent years have fkd up how the claret appears. Someone else said Nike had the blue right last and I agree. Also agree that it’s probably a bit different for each person’s eyes. Apologies if this is my most boring post ever.

Does anyone know what's going on with the badge? When Xia came in it was said that he was going to change the Lerner badge and here we are over three years later and no sign of a change. And I know it might not be a priority at the moment but it's not as if it'd be that difficult to do, and we are pretty much all in agreement as fans that we want the 80s one back so it'd be a popular move. Would have been great once promotion had been confirmed, new era, new badge.
