Nothing game really.

Started slowly and could have been two down inside 10 minutes, but after that and in the 2nd half in particular I thought we dominated them.

A full strength Villa would have murdered them, but it was wise to rest players as Leeds and the Albion have.

Lansbury a weak link, but Thor was even worse. You can't let players run at you like that.

Oh well. Not overly concerned. The focus is clearly on the Play Offs.
Lansbury I thought was excellent

We really must be more clinical in front of goal.

Only the 82 goals scored.
Agreed.
And how many missed?

I’m sorry, but guards of honour and shit like that for another team on our pitch really pisses me off. I could just about stand for a terse hand shake and a brisk nod of the head.
I'm the same, handshakers and hugs in the tunnel can do one.

I didn't think he was involved at all. He disappeared from the game and seems slower than Whelan.

Thought he put a shift in and deserves plaudits

Job done.  No players sent off, injured or spontaneously combusted.  Would have been nice to get a point or three but this side just didn't quite have enough against the champions.

Almost a second string team! Our full eleven would've thrashed them today! Norwich will be in Cardiff's current position this time next year!

Irrelevant it might have been.  However, our record against the top four has been absolutely crap.

Good game for the neutral. Take our chances and we win that, and if we'd played all our rested players I think we'd have won quite easily - certainly with Jack and SJM in the middle they wouldn't have been able to play as wide as they did. Decent move for their first goal, parting of the seas for their second.  Didn't learn much about the players today except that Keinan Davis is going to be a real handful for anyone. Didn't want to see my team provide a 'guard of honour' for anyone so left on the final whistle and got home in record time.  Roll on Saturday - after today's results I think Albion are there for the taking.

Yes.
The manager agrees.

That's on todays game minus our best attcking threats. Have Kod, Green or Adomah ever been clinical. 82 goals is pretty clinical overall for me...but, if you're saying about being clinical today, then well yeah, but wasn't going to happen with that team.

So I win yeah?

I agree with andyh about us being wasteful. I do worry that it will bite up on the arse.

just back - somehow I feel a bot deflated, even though it was a half strength side we created a lot of chances and once again failed to score more than one. We need everyone back and playing to the top of their game to win through against WBA.

Before the match today were you thinking, "I'm worried about us in the play offs, all these chances we waste"? I bet a trillion dollars you didn't.

So agree with me and we'll call it quits.
