I park on the backstreet behind what used to be Ruskin Hall.  Never have any issues to be fair not exactly M6 friendly though.

You can get straight onto the expressway from there and then onto jcn6 dead easy. Used to use Ruskin Hall years ago. They had a Celtic supporters club there, and I was once threatened by an enormous fat bloke with some kind of IRA retribution because I called him a fat bastard for knocking 3 pints out of my hand with his giant belly, lol

I hope KE Aston isnít closed because thatís where Iím parking this season.

I think it is permit holders only this season as the school is developing the land across the road as a car park and then extending the school.

Tip for escaping Star City:
Turn left out of the complex to avoid the queuing graffic at Spaghetti.
Turn right at next island towards Nechells otherwise youíll get stuck in traffic near the The Fort.
Carry on back into town as if heading towards the Pot of Beer (or whatever itís called these days!) and turn right at the dual carriageway to hit the island to jump on the Expressway to M6.

Good job, now every sod is going to be jamming up my usual escape route ;)

Might give Star City a try - don't they get arsey about match-goers using their parking?

It's a massive carpark so there really is no way of knowing who's coming to watch a match or going to watch a film. Both will be similar length of time.

I usually get a lift from there for midweek games and there's always plenty walking back to there.
