Lynda Overthrow
« on: May 10, 2019, 08:01:09 AM »
I haven't seen Lynda mentioned before but apologies if she has already been remembered.
Many of you will know her even if you don't recognize her name. Lynda went everywhere in her disability scooter with her jacket covered in badges. She was a constant fixture on the front of coach 2 and featured on the store window.
As we arrived back from Sheffield Wednesday on 6 April the news came through that she had died. It was fitting that her friends were together at Villa Park after celebrating another exciting win. The last thing that she heard was the score.
Her funeral was yesterday and the Villa family were there in force, the stewards in their hi vis jackets.
She left with a lot of love and many happy memories.
