We can argue all we like about the slight advantages of who we play and when.
The three other play off contenders will have a different conundrum. "If we are to go up, we need to find a way past Villa. How the hell do we do that ? "

In the recent run we've outplayed and beaten good teams away from home with massive pressure on us. We'll get through the playoffs cos we're the best team in the best form, as Fulham were last year.

They'll all be tough but we're the form team.  My only preference is to play the second leg of the semi at home, whoever it is.

Beating Leeds on Sunday would be a huge psychological blow to them and a massive boost for us. We should go for it. Rest players against Norwich.

I'm coming round to that way of thinking. Even if it turns out to be a dead rubber game, coming so close to the playoffs we have the chance to inflict a fatal blow to their confidence and make them play us with fear.

I think if Sheffield are in with a shout of winning the league they won't be too pleased with us fielding a weakened side.
It's our final home game and beating the potential champions would be a fitting end

I didn’t say we shouldn’t try and beat Norwich. Just rest players. And since when have we given a monkey’s what SU think?

Play both, smash both. Villa on the rise. May have something to do with the vat of sake I'm currently working through.

If our run of victories has to end at some time (which it will), I would much rather it be in one of the next two games as opposed to the play-offs. Then again, it could always end next season...

Jack, McGinn, Mings and Abraham on bench for Leeds and Norwich. This should keep them mentally tuned. Good substitutes study their potential opponents (left footed, right footed, preferred turn, positioning, weaknesses etc) instead of having a snooze on the bench. Let our training staff keep them physically tuned at Bodymoor Heath.

Give our fringe players some game time and take advantage of the breathing space the excellent winning streak has granted us.

Be plain stupid not to go into the play offs with our strongest and fittest eleven.  :)

Derby or Boro going to be 6th now. Very happy with either. Could cause Leeds some issue and we've been very dominant v both if we can make the final.
