We don't seem to beat them that often - bit like Wimbledon in the 80s and 90s, until we stuck a eight past them.  Maybe we're overdue giving these cavemen a damn good thrashing.  4-0 us.

We have an abysmal record down there, but at Villa Park they've beaten us once since Queen Victoria died.

The ref is Tim Robinson.

Reffed the shindig at St Andrews this season.

3 bookings apiece, for us:
Kortney Hause, Captain Jacktastic snd SJM.

Apparently we handed them their biggest ever defeat , 9-1 in the FA Cup , in January 1946

The whole team (management and players) seem to be on the same wavelength so expect them to apply the same level of professionalism, focus and determination to put in a good performance and get the result. They all know they have a job to do and they all seem focused to deliver, so hard to see anything other than another win. Davis or Kodjia need to be more clinical and bury their chances if Tammy doesn’t play...something that Tammy, Hourihane and a few others have been guilty of themselves in recent weeks.

3-1 Villa

We seem now to have found a way to win in most circumstances. It will not be easy, but we should find a way again.

Wouldn't be surprised to pick up another irritating injury problem.

Aston Villa 3-1 Millwall. I've gone for nine straight wins now, this will be number 10!

I think this will be very tough. Millwall have had decent results against Albion and Sheff U in recent weeks.

1-1

Going back to the cup humbling under Lambert, we haven't beaten them in 4 attempts, so either they're a sort of bogey team, or we're overdue a win.  I'm going to plump for the latter.  3-1 and history made.

With Grealish, McGinn and Mings playing, I just think we'll have too much for them.

We've played them 34 times since 1900. Won 14, drawn 10 and lost 10.

We've only played them 6 times in the last 30 years though. The most recent 4 post 1990;

2013 - Lost but losing embarrassingly was Lambert's thing.
2017 - Bruce bore draw 0-0.
2018 (May)- we played the reserves on the last day of the season.
2018 (October) - we had KMac in charge.

I'd not call them a bogey team per se. Keep professional and move the ball as we have and we'll drill them.

Ta. A shame for him as he's just back, but glad it's not too serious.

2-0 Villa. Millwall are unbeaten in the last four with a win and then three draws on the bounce. They are one of those teams who I fancy to win when they are at home bit wouldn't often back them to win away.
