Millwall home - reminder
« on: April 15, 2019, 08:11:07 AM »
Not sure if this needs posting but a reminder that the Millwall game next Monday is 1pm kickoff whereas all other championship games kick off at 3.

I had no idea until I was just checking out who other teams are playing.

Also. Norwich sold out and less than 1000 left for Millwall.

For anyone travelling up from London, Euston station will be closed over the entire Easter weekend.

Good post Andy. Only realised myself two days ago.

We're in Leeds on Monday morning, so it will be a very early start!

There are still quite a few tickets left in the Upper Trinity and it's not on sale for the Norwich match yet.

Upper Trinity already sold out for Norwich, in fact, only 10 tickets left for this game in the whole ground, front row bottom tier of away section.

Has it for sure?

It's greyed out on the ticket selector, so I'm hoping it just hasn't been opened up yet.

Yes.

I bought four tickets up there last week for some friends. I'd been waiting for it to come online last week and pounced when it did. They then sold out really quickly.

Looked on Saturday and greyed out as you say so clicked and you could actually purchase tickets. Centre was alrrady sold out but still 100 + seats in the wing sections.

Might be too late now though.

Is the game on Sky?

Think it's just WMP decision to limit drinking on bank holiday.

It's on the Red Button, but the drinking thing doesn't make much sense, the earlier the KO, the earlier people start drinking these days.

It's more likely to be that it's on the red button so can't be a three o'clock kick-off.

PEDANTIC POINT: Early kick-offs aren't to stop drinking, they're to prevent tensions building and daft rumours doing the rounds.

It can still be on the red button and kick off at 3pm, I watched Preston and QPR in the pub over xmas which were both at the normal time.

No doubt Millwall fans already put 12pm in their diaries for taking a selfie on the Holte end steps and then boasting to their firms "we took over the Holte while the Aston ran guvnor."

It was after 2pm when they went on the steps. Strange behavior but it wasn't hours before the game.
