Fantastic round from Lowry. I really hope he finishes the job, he seems like a really decent bloke.

It would be great to see him hold on tomorrow and win it, it really would.  A nice unassuming man.  If he doesn't then I hope it's either Fleetwood or Rose, I think the weather isn't promised great so who knows?

Pity no one made a challenge, but well done Shane Lowry that was a superb performance.

Bit of an anti-climax because Lowry never once looked like being caught.  Brilliant from him.

JB Holmes had a Duval-esque meltdown, shooting 87.  16 over par.

Fitting that an Irishman won it. Lowry's such a good player, I'm surprised he hasn't been in contention for majors more often.

Any bad day for JB Holmes is fine by me. His slow play is horrendous at times, and as someone who plays golf, slow play is a fucking wind up.

An anti climax but I'm chuffed for Lowry.

The ceremony was brief though, what happened to the runners up and the leading amateur? Seems a shame that they're not part of it anymore.

No amateur made the cut, so there was no silver medal this year.

Solheim Cup Suzann Pettersen holes the winning putt, giving Europe a 141/2 131/2 win over USA, great win.

Just watched the last ten minutes, never seen women's golf before but enjoyed that. From losing the cup, to failing to regain it, to winning it, all in the space of a couple of minutes.

Good to see Danny Willett winning the PGA at Wentworth, after his disastrous slump in form following his Masters win in 2016, hopefully he is now on the way to better things.

Tiger Woods has won his 82nd PGA event, his first tournament since returning from yet another knee op. If he can keep fit, looks like he will be in contention to win more grand slams next year.

Surprised no mention of Patrick Reed - the cheating bastard.
