They are in good form and will be up for it.  So will we.  Should be a good game.  I can't call it as we can't win every game, a draw wouldn't be a bad result.

I think their form is misleading. They have only faced 2 top half sides since their manager was sacked and both were draws. We've got to be going there to win.

Yep, Wednesday were lucky to draw at Stoke apparently.

Bruce is due a defeat now and we’ll have too much for them.

A routine 2-0 away win, with a goal in each half.

No point saying it’s a massive game because every game is now, but fuck me its a massive game.

Wee Barry ran the show at Villa Park but we didn’t have a midfield then, I’m sure it’ll be different this weekend.
I’m going for a 1-0 win and finger nails nibbled down to the knuckles.

We had a midfield three of Hourihane, McGinn and Grealish that provided little or no resistance without the ball the sane day. Reach tortured Hutton I think and Fletcher had a field day up front. That day was the beginning of the end for Bruce really.

We are a much different side now with the Jedinak centre back experiment long since at an end. But I'd certainly be moving Hause to left back. Fletcher has the guile to trouble his unease at RCB.

I can see it being a draw which would leave Bruce with his team there or thereabouts.

You do realise Bruce is a promotion specialist don't you? But he is too modest to mention it.

Fletcher has been out injured last couple of games so may be a doubt for the weekend.

I can’t bring myself to predict this one.

If I call a Villa win, I know we’ll get stuffed.

Bruce really won’t want to be losing this,
So pretty sure he’ll park the bus.

Just hoping for an early Villa goal to bring Wednesday out at us a bit.

I feel the same way from when we went away to Forest a short while ago, I feared that we may struggle and going a goal down early seemed to galvanise us into a quick response which we got.

3-1 to the Villa please :)

This will be a tricky game for us but I think the form we are in we can beat Sheff Wed so I reckon 2-1 Villa win.

One thing we need to remember is that Bruce almost always is ok in major games. Last season v Blues, Wolves, Cardiff and Boro etc. And then fucks up the following games. So based on that we have to avoid defeat. That will consolidate our position and eliminate any lingering hopes they have of making the top six.

I think we need to remember that we are the form team, coming up against Potato Head's select XI, and we should funeral them Then cremate the rotting carcass. 3 points. See ya!

I'd like to think the progressives beat the antediluvian.

I’d like to think I know what antediluvian means. Unfortunately I don’t, so I’ll probably look it up.

Hope it's like the old days of Villa vs Brentford, but it's us playing them off the park.
We'll conveniently forget how well Bruce's Villa played against Smith's Brentford earlier in the season then :-)
